The only Michelin-starred restaurant in Nice that I have visited five times, and every time it is a delight. Very reasonable value for money, top-tier atmosphere, and above all, the cheese room. Get the cheese board: you are invited into a cheese kingdom with a large wooden table, candles, cheeses, nuts, jams, and dried fruits. An explosion of joy.

If it is your first time at JAN, go for the Signature menu rather than the Classic. The price difference is not insignificant, but MARIA is truly part of the restaurant's story — and it would be a shame to experience only half of JAN. And avoid planning anything right after: here, dinner is clearly an entire evening in itself.
