About

Le Cornichon is like the PMU we all dream of having right downstairs. The decor keeps the local café codes, but the food is much more serious than it looks. Bertrand Chauveau cooks generous, indulgent dishes with a menu that changes daily for lunch and plates to share in the evening. Personally, I love their fries, and the beautiful cuts of meat are well worth the trip. You can come for lunch for almost nothing, have a drink on the terrace, have dinner with friends, and easily stay much longer than planned. The kind of place that truly comes to life from morning until late at night.

Recommended by the guide

Weekday lunch is particularly interesting for its value for money: €20 for two courses and €23 for three. But if you come in the evening, order several plates and definitely don't miss the fries and meat cuts.
